About the Role
This role is specifically designed for two vibrant and inquisitive girls, aged 8 and 12. As their mentor and guide, you will take on the responsibility of planning and leading full weekend days filled with enriching cultural outings, visits to museums, and engaging creative experiences. Each activity will be thoughtfully curated to ensure that an educational thread runs through everything you do, fostering a love of learning and discovery.
The weekends will be packed with opportunities for exploration, whether it’s delving into the wonders of art and science at a museum, participating in hands-on workshops, or engaging in outdoor adventures that spark curiosity about the natural world. Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to accompany the family on a 7-day Disney Cruise departing from Barcelona in July, where you will create memorable experiences that blend fun and education.
This position is far from a standard nanny role; rather, we are seeking an individual who possesses the ability to plan and lead activities with enthusiasm and creativity.
We are looking for a carer who embodies the instincts of an educator, someone who can design each weekend meticulously around the interests and developmental needs of two bright, curious girls. Your role will involve weaving learning into every outing, ensuring that each experience is not only enjoyable but also intellectually stimulating.
You will encourage critical thinking and creativity, asking open-ended questions and facilitating discussions that inspire the girls to think deeply and make connections across different subjects. Whether you are exploring the rich history of a museum exhibit, engaging in a creative arts project, or embarking on an educational adventure in nature, your aim will be to bring genuine intellectual engagement to every day, making learning a natural and enjoyable part of their lives.
The on-cruise hours will be 12 hours daily. You are required to be available for this duration, although breaks will be provided and discussed with the family. The role necessitates that the selected nanny remains attentive and active for 12 hours each day during the cruise.

Responsibilities
Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate weekend activities across London
Incorporate cultural learning and language enrichment naturally into outings
Travel with the family for a 7-day Disney Cruise in July (departing Barcelona)
Provide flexible weekday cover from 5pm on request
Communicate proactively with the parent throughout the placement
Maintain awareness of a sibling's nut allergy during shared outings
Requirements
Native English speaker (essential for this placement)
Experience with school-age children in a private household setting
Comfortable in premium and luxury environments
Valid UK passport — international travel required
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Paediatric first aid certificate preferred
Confident planning activities independently without direction
Schedule
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) — full days, end of June through August
Additional +2 weekdays from 5pm on a flexible, on-request basis
7-day cruise in July — full-time during this period
